Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to NEXL! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the NEXL platform, operated by NEXL PTE. LTD. ("we", "us," or "our"), which connects users with premium medical and wellness services in South Korea. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the platform.
These Terms apply to all features and services offered through the platform unless otherwise specified.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to NEXL's websites, mobile applications, and related services
- "Service Provider" means medical and wellness clinics, hospitals, and facilities
- "User" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform
- "Promotional Service" means any service offered at a special or discounted rate for a limited time
3. Services Provided
NEXL facilitates the booking and payment of medical and aesthetic procedures provided by third-party clinics and professionals (collectively, "Service Providers"). NEXL does not provide any medical services itself and does not endorse or guarantee the quality of services provided by Service Providers.
3.1 Service Availability
- NEXL strives to maintain platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Maintenance may be notified in advance when possible
- NEXL is not liable for any disruption in service due to factors beyond our control
4. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and complete information when using the platform
- Compliance with Laws: Users must comply with all applicable laws when using our services
- Medical Advice: All medical decisions should be made in consultation with licensed professionals. NEXL does not provide medical advice.
5. Payments and Refunds
5.1 Secure Transactions
- All transactions are processed securely. NEXL does not store your payment information.
- Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payment information and sufficient funds.
5.2 Payment Obligations
- Full payment or deposit is required for booking confirmation
- Additional fees may apply as specified by Service Providers, including taxes or surcharges where applicable.
5.3 Basic Refund Policy
- Refund policies are determined by the respective Service Providers.
- NEXL is not responsible for refunds unless explicitly agreed upon in writing
5.4 Standard Refund Policy
- Full Refund:
- Cancellation 72 hours or more before the scheduled appointment
- Service Provider cancellation of the appointment
- Platform technical issues preventing service delivery
- Partial Refund (50%):
- Cancellation between 24-72 hours before the appointment
- Documented medical emergencies or severe illness preventing attendance
- No Refund:
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment
- Late show for scheduled appointment
- Dissatisfaction with consultation results
- Promotion or special price services (marked as "Non-refundable")
- Limited time or special discount events
- Group purchase or bulk booking services
5.5 Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted through the NEXL platform within 7 days
- Required documentation must be provided within 3 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method
- Disputes regarding refunds will be handled through the dispute resolution process outlined in Section 9
6. Bookings and Cancellations
- Booking Confirmation: Services are only confirmed upon payment of a deposit
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling policies are subject to the terms set by the respective Service Providers
- No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit
7. Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantees: NEXL does not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcomes of services provided by Service Providers
- Third-Party Responsibility: Service Providers are solely responsible for the services they deliver
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEXL disclaims all liability for damages arising from platform or service usage

9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Resolution Process
- Direct Resolution:
- Submit complaints through the NEXL platform
- Response within 48 business hrs
- Resolution attempts within 10 business days
- Mediation:
- If direct resolution fails after 30 days, mediation will be conducted through the Singapore Mediation Centre. Costs are shared equally between parties
- If mediation fails, final binding arbitration will be conducted under SIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre) rules. Arbitration fees follow SIAC guidelines
9.2 Jurisdiction
- Exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts
- Online dispute resolution available for international users
- Choice of law provisions apply to all disputes
9.3 Time Limitations
- Claims must be filed within one year of the incident
- Documentation requirements specified in platform guidelines
10. Emergency Situations
- Force majeure events may affect service delivery
- Special operating protocols may apply during public health emergencies
- Platform policies may be temporarily modified to comply with emergency regulations
- Users will be notified of any emergency-related changes through email or platform notifications
- Emergency-related cancellations may be subject to modified refund policies
11. Amendments to Terms
NEXL reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the platform, and users will be notified via email or platform notifications for significant updates. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
